There's something incredibly special about capturing love in photographs. It becomes even more magical when the setting sun paints a picturesque backdrop and adds an ethereal glow to the snapshots. This was precisely the case when I had the honor of photographing an engagement session for Miriam and Trevor at Gary's Point in Richmond, BC.
From the moment I met Miriam and Trevor, I could sense their deep and abiding love for each other. But there was one more love that was equally undeniable, their love for their baby boy, Oliver. The couple's eyes sparkled with joy and adoration whenever they looked at their little boy, making my job as a photographer a pure pleasure.
Gary's Point, with its idyllic location and breathtaking views, made a perfect setting for this engagement session. The entire session was filled with laughter, joy, and countless precious moments. Miriam and Trevor, basking in the glow of the setting sun, looked picture-perfect. Their love for each other was evident in every photo. But what added more beauty to these photos was their baby boy, Oliver. He was indeed 'freaking cute', with his cherubic face and infectious smile. His innocent giggles and curious eyes added a unique charm to the photos.
One of my favorite moments from the session was when Trevor gently held Oliver in his arms, while Miriam lovingly looked at them. The setting sun in the background added a beautiful glow to the frame, making it look like a perfect family portrait. As the day ended and the sun finally set, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the love and joy that Miriam and Trevor shared - not just for each other, but also for their adorable child. It was a day filled with beautiful moments, incredible love, and the captivating charm of baby Oliver.
This engagement session with Miriam, Trevor, and Oliver was more than just a photoshoot. It was a celebration of love, family, and the beautiful journey they have embarked upon together. It was a privilege to capture these precious moments for them, and I couldn't be more grateful. This is the story of Miriam, Trevor, and their baby boy, Oliver - a story of love, joy, and a freaking cute baby boy. A story that was a pleasure to capture and one that will forever be etched in my heart.
