Every time I look at our wedding photos I can FEEL the butterflies, the nervousness, the overwhelming happy emotions all over again from our special day.

We also love our engagement photos so much. Tommy was open to the locations we chose for our engagement photos as they hold a special meaning for us. Though not the most conventional choice for photos, he captured incredible and beautiful pictures we'll always cherish.

Have you ever wondered why pre-wedding and post-wedding photoshoots are a must? They give you a chance to create truly magical images that just aren't possible on the busy wedding day itself. On a typical wedding day, you might get 30 minutes to an hour at with most for bride and groom portraits. Sure, you&rsquo;ll get some beautiful shots, but nothing like what I captured for Carman and Charles at Deep Cove.

This session was special because we had time to explore, to relax, and to really capture the dreamy, light-heated, and romantic vibe photos for Carman and Charles. We started early, just after sunrise when their was mist still creating this ethereal atmosphere. The light was simply breathtaking, with soft, golden rays peeking through the mist, setting the perfect stage for these two.

We wandered from the pier to a quiet spot by the lake, surrounded by flowers and trees. Every corner of Deep Cove seemed to offer a new and stunning backdrop. I even brought along my trusty bubble gun for some added fun, which always adds a bit of magic to the shoot.

After wrapping up at the pier, we moved to a nearby forest area. Carman and Charles were just the sweetest, kind-hearted and full of love, which made my job so much more enjoyable. Their connection shines through in every photo, and it's shoots like these that remind me why I love what I do.

The chance you took on me, to document such a meticulously planned and beautiful ceremony at UBC Botanical Garden, is something I deeply appreciate. Your kindness, understanding, and the joyful journey we embarked on together from the start have been a true pleasure. Opting for the UBC Botanical Garden as your wedding location means embracing an ambiance that cannot be duplicated elsewhere in Vancouver, BC. If you feel drawn to this enchanting forest backdrop get ready for a potentially complex planning experience. Drawing from my experience at Alex and Rob&rsquo;s wedding I've gathered some insights and tips that could assist you in navigating your wedding preparations, at the UBC Botanical Garden.

Whytecliff Park is located in West Vancouver near Horseshoe Bay neighborhood. Definitely one of the most popular West Vancouver locations to take engagement photos at. It's known for its beautiful ocean views, mysterious rock and lush greenery. This was our second location for our engagement photo shoot with Hoang and Rose. The spot gets pretty busy so it's best to come pretty early on in the morning to get some great shots without it being too busy. One of my favorite places to shoot at in Vancouver.
