For me this was an interesting event, my first time experiencing an Indian wedding and experiencing a Mayian ceremony. This event was steeped in tradition. Victor, who is getting married, is painted on by all his guests with a golden paste said to cleanse the body before marriage. After finishing the painting they celebrate with a massive dance with music played by family members. This was an incredible ceremony to be a part of thanks Victor for allowing me to be a part of this!
